  1. If you are still thinking whether you should sign up to reserve the spot, I think you should definitely go ahead. Investing on self is the most wise decision that I have ever made and I am so happy with the result. Now I am definitely better at evaluate coffee quality, and actually got more opportunities from coffee industry. It helped not only from coffee quality judging perspective, but also changed my future life.

  2. The only place that offers the Q in Canada, worth it!! Thanks so much, I find my holes to patch, even I have been in the industry for so long, but without training I found myself just basically stayed at the same place still, without any progress until I have taken this training. So, if you have been in the industry for long, don’t think yourself too big, there are so much more outer side of the circle that you have comfortable with in the past. This course is very benefiting, for all the perspectives in coffee.

  3. Definitely worth if!! Thanks a lot, so much information, exhausting 6 days, but I have learned a lot.

More importantly, the listed courses above will step by step trains you to acquire the true skills of tasting, and help you to build the correct industry scale on grading green coffee. The sensory building process is similar as building a HIGH CONCRETE BUILDING, first to build the parts underneath as the solid fundamental (trained level at SCA SENSORY FOUNDATION / 1 DAY and not recommend to skip), then to build the building’s bricks and accumulating floor structures (trained level at SCA SENSORY INTERMEDIATE / 2 DAYS), further to install windows, lights, drainage system, electricity, etc. (trained level at SCA SENSORY PROFESSIONAL / 4 DAYS), then to renovates to brush the wall, decorating, purchasing furnitures, etc. to fine tuning the system (trained in the CQI QUALITY CUPPING ESSENTIALS / 3 DAYS).

The recommended SCA training courses aim at pushing your boundaries in such short and condensed periods with high intensity of trainings. If done by self, would be an endless process and with lots of question marks and wondering where you are?! To get trains under proper industry trainings and guided by the top industry experienced trainers is the most efficient way of learning and would provide you surprising outcomes. However, you need to pledge your FOCUS!

After went through the above mentioned proper trainings and have acquired necessary skills and knowledges in the coffee industry through the trainings, then I would recommend the Q GRADER certification workshop for you to pursue as the ultimate certificate as a coffee professional in the industry, like to take an IELTS test about your “ENGLISH LEVEL” for further school pursuing in a world level scope. The Q Coffee System: The Q Coffee System identifies quality coffees and brings them to market through a credible and verifiable system. The Q System: A good bean is the first step toward achieving a perfect cup of coffee. Reinforcing the standards of specialty coffee links everyone in the supply chain with an integrity that shows pride in the product. According to SCA standards for arabica, a coffee that is free of primary defects or unclean odors and scores 80 or above on the SCAA cupping form is considered Specialty Grade. While many variables in roasting and brewing affect the taste of coffee, Q Coffees™ confirm that the beans being used are Specialty and among the highest quality in the world. This is the only mark that certified coffees on a quality scale for arabica.
