Description

Q Grader Re-calibration is a 1 days workshop conducted by a Q Instructor for already certified Q GRADERS to re-calibrate to renew their license. Q certificate is valid and need to be calibrated every thirty six (36) months (CALIBRATION WINDOW: 6 months before and 6 months after the certified date), beginning from the first course attempt date. It is extended for another 36 month period upon of passing the Q calibration.

The calibration 1 day involves

– 1 reference cupping (3 coffees)

– 3 cupping flights (6 coffees per flight), each with distinct characteristics

– 1 FlavorActive exam

All Q Graders must be in calibration and pass 2 of the 3 cupping flights and the 1 FlavorActive exam in order to renew their license and continue to qualify as a certified Q Grader for another 36 months.

Q graders whom have failed the Q calibration may retake the entire set of cupping tests within 6 months (start from the date of the 1st calibration). If failing to pass the second time, the grader must complete a

Q Re-certify (6 days Q certification with 16 EXAMS) to re-activate the Q Grader license.
